Privacy Policy

Stronger Together Foundation, LLC (“Stronger Together Foundation,” “STF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a veteran-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Meridian, Mississippi. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information of everyone who visits our website, subscribes to our communications, volunteers with us, attends our events, or supports our mission through a donation.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. It applies to www.strongertogetherfoundation.org and any related pages, forms, or services we operate (collectively, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you interact with the Site, including when you:

  • Submit a contact form or otherwise email us

  • Sign up for our email newsletter

  • Apply or register to volunteer, including as a Mission Ambassador or Board member applicant

  • Register for or express interest in an event

  • Make a donation or become a Flags of Honor Community Partner

  • Correspond with us by phone, email, or social media

This information may include your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and any other details you choose to share with us, such as the content of a message or the reason for your interest in our programs.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our Site is built and hosted on the Wix platform, which automatically collects certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring/exit pages, and general usage data (such as pages viewed and time spent on the Site). This information is typically collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies, as described in Section 3 below.

1.3 Information From Donations and Third-Party Payment Platforms
When you make a donation, we may direct you to a third-party donation or payment platform (for example, our online giving pages hosted through FCS Suite/Community Funding platform, or programs such as Walmart Spark Good). These platforms collect and process your payment and billing information directly — we do not directly receive or store your full payment card number. We may receive summary information from these providers, such as your name, contact information, and the amount and date of your donation, so that we can properly thank you and maintain our donor records. Your use of any third-party donation platform is also subject to that platform’s own privacy policy and terms.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your questions, comments, or requests

  • Send you our newsletter and updates about events, resources, and volunteer opportunities (when you have opted in)

  • Process, acknowledge, and record donations, sponsorships, and Flags of Honor participation

  • Coordinate volunteer opportunities and Mission Ambassador or Board activities

  • Improve our Site, programs, and outreach

  • Maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our Site and organization

  • Comply with applicable legal, tax, and regulatory obligations as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies (such as those provided through the Wix platform) to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our Site. These may include analytics cookies that help us see aggregate trends in visits and engagement.

You can typically set your browser to refuse some or all browser cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Site (such as the newsletter sign-up form) may not function properly.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Site, process donations, send communications, or support our programs (for example, our website host, email newsletter provider, and donation/payment processors), who are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us

  • With sponsors or partners when necessary to coordinate a specific program you’ve joined (for example, Flags of Honor Community Partners), and only with your knowledge

  • As required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of STF, our volunteers, or the public

  • In connection with a reorganization, merger, or transfer of some or all of our organizational assets, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements

5. Third-Party Links and Services

Our Site contains links to third-party websites and services we do not control, including donation platforms (FCS Suite), social media pages (such as Instagram and Facebook), and sponsor or partner websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site or service before providing your information.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Site and programs are intended for a general adult audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information in Section 10 so we can promptly delete it.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — for example, to maintain donor and volunteer records, comply with legal and tax obligations applicable to nonprofit organizations, and support our ongoing mission — unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You have the following choices regarding your information:

  • Newsletter: You may unsubscribe from our email newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link included in each email, or by contacting us directly.

  • Communications preferences: You can ask us to update or correct your contact information, or to stop contacting you, at any time.
